In the Spring you can find yourself on a ten mile hike in search of shed antlers. White-tail deer move from the low lying areas around the water to the higher elevations to yard for the coming winter. Deer seek the warm sun of the south facing ridges or in the cedar swamps for shelter from a winter storm. Miles can be put on looking for these treasures.
